This photo was taken at Slow Food Nation an event created by Slow Food USA in San Francisco, September of 2008. What a great testimony to the power of perseverance and never giving up your dream. This bus was traveling across the country to bring attention to the idea of an organic garden at the White House….the WHO bus stood for White House Organic, and as we know there is now an organic garden on the front lawn at the White House. Never give up your dreams.
This can be a wonderful example for all of us to remember that we can create a healthier, more sustainable America in the food we eat, the air we breathe and way that we travel. This is the beginning of SmartLifeways and I could not think of a better way to start than to offer this inspiration.
